The ability to transform the unthinkable.
These recent months were clouded because of the pandemic, still it’s clear the ability of the human being to develop, adapt and transform himself, what’s at his disposal and the environment he inhabits. We have rearranged the unthinkable at a rapid and unexpected pace, overcoming principles we were firmly anchored to.

This sort of drive, as natural as mandatory, often represents the beginning of a transformative intervention, moved by intentions that have the purpose of realising useful effects with one’s actions. This inner strength might come from the intent to impose one’s critical thought in order to cause a reflection: the artist Olafur Eliasson and the geologist Minik Rosing positioned twelve icebergs → in the square in front of Paris’s Pantheon in 2015, positively taking advantage of the power of art to increase in the viewer the awareness that a problem exists.

A proper motivative thought also underlies those interventions that want to capsize the symbolic meaning of an object or situation as so to deduce the most inherent truth, as for the performative action “Radura” ← by Ground Action: a space of 250 sq.m. created inside a poplar wood meant for production which represents a natural theatre derived from the maintenance of the surrounding nature itself.
