Start again from children.
Plastic products that surface from the contemporary market are children of an age of high sensitisation to re-use and recycle, and want to encourage the buyer to a conscious consideration: we dispose of limited primary resources and it is necessary to give new life to “old” plastic as much as possible.

The concept of new life is crucial in Ecobirdy’s production, a brand based in Antwerp (BE) that produces toys and furniture for children. With the will of introducing them to circular economy, Ecobirdy composed all the pieces of their debut collection ← recycling plastic of old toys. The toy market uses plastic massively and 80% of the toys ends up in landfill or seas or is incinerated after only six months of use. With this collection, produced in Italy by fair business activity, designers Joris Vanbriel and Vanessa Yuan aim at creating long lasting products that can also be recycled, to minimise impact on the environment and reduce waste.
